An organic vineyard and farm in the Umbrian hills.
Beulah Violetta is an organic farm set on thirty two hectares of land overlooking the Umbrian hilltop town of Todi in the green heart of Italy.

The Vineyards
The vineyards are situated between 450-520 metres above sea level and are on typical clay soils of the region with traces of limestone. We grow Sagrantino, Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Merlot and Trebbiano Spoletino. There are approximately 10.5 hectares under vine with various exposures from north to south. The vines are in conversion to biodynamic farming and will attain certification in May 2026.

The Farm
Beyond the vineyards we are growing olives, wheat, mulberries, apricots, cherries, figs, plums, persimmons and more.
In 2024 a brood of hens and a rooster named ‘Archimede’ joined the Beulah Violetta family. We also introduced ten bee hives in 2025 with more to be added in the coming years.
In addition to the farm’s cultivated crops the property has an abundance of wild produce in its paddocks and woods including wild asparagus, truffles, porcini, endemic herbs and cinghiale.

Our Wine
In 2022 when we took over the vineyards we decided to sell the fruit whilst we settled. Our first vintage began on the first of September 2023. The grapes were hand harvested over two days with the idea of producing a single field blend. ‘Stesso Stesso’ was created, a light red best enjoyed with friends. The 2023 was released in mid 2024.
Our second vintage of ‘Stesso Stesso’ 2024 will be released late in 2025.
We completed our third vintage this September and are excited to be releasing in addition to the ‘Stesso Stesso’ a new cuvee, ‘Panda Rosa’ a Rosato with attitude.

Seasonal cooking from our Umbrian kitchen and beyond.
Annie is a trained chef, graduating from Le Cordon Bleu both in Paris and London. James also spent time working in commercial kitchens. These recipes continue their passion for cooking and produce. Over the past two years we have been planting out our vegetable garden ‘Orto’ and are excited to begin to share recipes from hearth of the farm.
Stay tuned!
